- Although threading hair removal is a fairly recent
arrival in most Canadian day spas, threading is actually an ancient Arabian
technique and is also used extensively in South Asia.
- Threading uses cotton thread to entwine hair individually and remove from the root for results that last up to four weeks.
- Threading is considered safe for sensitive skin as there is no product use involved. Unlike waxing, irritation and skin rashes can be avoided with threading as the top layer of dead skin is not stripped off during the threading process.
